English: The Hindu temple Banaras Tulsi Manas Mandir, often referred to as Tulsi Birla Manas Mandir, is located in Varanasi, India. It is one of the most well-known tourist attractions in Varanasi and is devoted to the Hindu god Lord Rama.

The industrialist Birla family erected the shrine in 1964. It boasts lovely architecture and is constructed of white marble. The temple complex also has a library, a park, and a museum.

The enormous white marble figure of Lord Rama, Sita, Lakshmana, and Hanuman is the temple's major draw. There are also additional statues and sculptures throughout the temple that portray incidents from the Hindu epic Ramayana.

Significance of the Tulsi Manas Mandir

Hindus hold a special place in their hearts for the Tulsi Manas Mandir because it is thought that this is where the Hindu poet and saint Goswami Tulsidas created the Ramcharitmanas, an Awadhi version of the Ramayana. One of the most well-known and beloved Hindu literature is the Ramcharitmanas.

The Tulsi Manas Mandir is a representation of harmony between Hindus and Muslims. The property for the temple was provided by a Muslim merchant by the name of Haji Usman, but the Hindu Birla family erected the temple.

Visiting the Tulsi Manas Mandir

Visitors can visit the Tulsi Manas Mandir from 5:30 AM to 12:00 PM and from 3:30 PM to 9:00 PM. The temple is situated in Varanasi's Durgakund neighbourhood on Sankat Mochan Road.

Respectful attire is required of everyone who enters the temple. The temple doesn't charge a fee to enter.
